World War II impacted history in a big way. Join us at the Buckeye Lake Library for a program series running December 2016 through September 2017 exploring various aspects of this era. Programs take place in the conference room. 

WWII Historical Program Featuring Don Jakeway

Special guest speaker, Donald Jakeway, a decorated Veteran of World War II, will share his experiences of D-Day and the Battle of the Bulge.

1940s Ballroom Style Dance Party
Dec. 9, 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Celebrate the kick-off of our historical program series.  Free admission and refreshments available.

A Time to Remember: Saturday Movie Matinees
Dec. 10, 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

We will be kicking off our monthly Saturday Movie Matinee series with a film set during the American entrance into World War II.  ​
Jan. 21, 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
We will be showing a family appropriate World War II related film which is based on the book by C.S. Lewis. 
Feb. 4, 12:00-2:30 p.m.
We will be showing a romantic movie musical set on an island in the South Pacific during World War II, shown just in time for Valentine's Day.
Feb. 18, 12:00-2:00 p.m. 
We will be showing a movie which is set in the 1940s and shows what it was like for Japanese-Americans in the United States during the war.
