Thanks to the generosity of the Energy Cooperative Operation RoundUp Foundation, the Licking County Library has acquired three Automated External Defibrillator (AED) units for use in a health crises at Main and Emerson R. Miller libraries. The location of the third AED is still to be determined. An AED is a lightweight, portable device that delivers an electric shock through the chest to the heart. The shock can stop an irregular heart rhythm and allow a normal rhythm to resume following sudden cardiac arrest.
Effective June 1st, 2016, ALL LOCATIONS of the Licking County Library are TOBACCO FREE. Smoking, or the use of any tobacco product, including smokeless tobacco or electronic cigarettes is not permitted inside buildings or outside on the property of any library location.
