Licking County Library offers meeting and study rooms at Main Library in downtown Newark; Meeting rooms at Buckeye Lake Library and the Mary E. Babcock Library in Johnstown; and study rooms at Emerson R. Miller branch in west Newark. Reservations for the use of Library meeting facilities can be made in-person, online, or over the phone at 740.349.5553 by anyone 18 years of age or older.
When the meeting rooms are not needed for library-related activities, they are available for use by community groups. Non-profit groups may use the meeting rooms free of charge. For-profit groups may use the meeting rooms at a cost of $50 for 4 hours or less. An additional $50 will be charged for any additional time. The small groups (between 1-6 people) can reserve one of Main Library’s 3 study rooms for 2-hour increments. For more information about the rules and regulations regarding room use, please refer to the Study Room Guidelines.
Please note: A library card is not required to reserve the meeting or study rooms.
