Big News for the Digital Catalog!

Ohio Digital Library logoOn November 7th, the SEO Library Consortium and the Ohio eBook Project, two of the largest consortia (groups of libraries) in Ohio, are joining together to create the Ohio Digital Library.  What does this mean for you?  This new collection will be the largest in the country, so you will have many more eBook and eAudiobook titles to look through and borrow!

Make sure to update your bookmarks to http://ohioebooks.org for the new digital catalog.  If you are using the OverDrive app on your mobile device, you will need to update your saved library to the "Ohio Digital Library."

You will still check out titles with your Licking County Library card number and PIN just like normal. All titles will check out for 21 days. You will be able to check out 10 at a time and place 12 on hold.None of the titles you currently have checked out on November 7th will be lost. Also, you will not lose any holds or checkouts because of combining accounts, but if it causes you to reach or exceed your maximum number, then you wouldn’t be able to place any new holds/checkouts until some have been removed.
