Description

Gettysburg had a population of 2,400 people in 1863; within a three day period that population jumped to approximately 150,000. The battle brought devastation to the residents of Gettysburg. Every farm field or garden was a graveyard. Churches, public buildings and even private homes were hospitals, filled with wounded soldiers.  Come and listen to stories of the days after the battle from the civilians and the soldiers who were there.<
