MEETING AND STUDY ROOMS AT LICKING COUNTY LIBRARY
Licking County Library offers meeting and study rooms at Newark Library in downtown Newark; Meeting rooms at Buckeye Lake Library and the Mary E. Babcock Library in Johnstown; and study rooms as Emerson R. Miller branch in west Newark. Reservations for the use of Library meeting facilities can be made in-person, online, or over the phone at 740.349.5553 by any one 18 years of age or older.
When the meeting rooms are not needed for library-related activities, they are available to non-profit community groups at no charge. For-profit groups may book various meeting rooms on a fee basis. The small groups (between 1-6 people) can reserve one of Newark Library’s 3 study rooms for 2-hour increments. For more information about the rules and regulations regarding room use, please refer to the Study Room Guidelines.
Please note: A library card is not required to reserve the meeting or study rooms.
RESERVING A ROOM

Click on icons to reserve a meeting or study room.

Choose the room you are interested in using. Hover mouse over room to display capacity and equipment options.

Choose the date you are interested in from the calendar.

To make sure you are viewing the correct room/date, simply view the text at the top of the time grid. (Example: Meeting Room A on 1/1/2013.)

All available times will read as OPEN. Choose the time of your reservation by clicking on the first checkbox and the last checkbox for your desired time range.

Click CONTINUE.

Enter the information requested on the form.

Click VERIFY REQUEST.

Review the information you have entered, then click SUBMIT REQUEST.
You will receive an email with your request details. Once meeting room reservations are approved by a staff member, you will receive a confirmation email. Study room reservations do not require staff approval.
